Carlorbiz exists because I’ve been driven by one question throughout a lengthy career in senior executive roles.

I’ve spent 30 years transforming organisations across a really wide gamut of industries, all the while asking myself why?

Why do we settle into mediocrity? Why are we happy to be defined by textbook definitions or an arbitrary set of criteria? Why do so few organisations challenge what we could be doing better? What we could be delivering at a higher quality?

I’m Carla Taylor, founder of Carlorbiz Consulting. I’m a strategy and efficiency nerd, committed to providing greater value for the community we serve.

I’m a tech nerd too: committed to finding systems that don’t drive our work, but enable us to do that work better.

And it’s on this point that we’ve reached a really exciting time in history. Definitely in my lifetime, I’ve never seen so much opportunity. For the first time, we really do have the tools to challenge mediocrity. We no longer have to just comply to one definition, one label. And how exciting is that?
